This may sound ironic but the most difficult piece for writers and artists to compose is their own bio! Yes, it’s true. So—instead of agonizing over a 75-word synopsis of my life (lawyer, wife, feline mum, living in Maryland…), I asked my husband and friends to compile a list of quirky questions for me to answer. In no particular order:
What would you do if you didn’t have to work? Sleep.
What’s your favorite bumper sticker? “Sorry for driving so close in front of you.”
Can you daydream at night? Absolutely! I’ll leave it at that.
What was your favorite toy when you were a kid? A little white cat I named Twinkle.
What’s your favorite love story? Someday.
You are given a boat as a gift! What will her christening name be? Seaclusion or Seaesta.
If you were told one thing that you weren’t told when you were a teenager, what would it be? You’ll be just fine.
Are you a morning or night person? Night person.
If I wasn’t afraid I would: Consider living on Mars.

Do you believe in love at first sight? No, but I do believe in intense physical attraction at first sight.
Does Prince Charming exist? As a fictional character of course!
What would you most like to own? A Vespa!
What is your motto for living? Get over yourself!
Name one piece of clothing that describes you: A soft, cozy wrap.
Favorite place to eat? A lovely family-owned Greek & Italian restaurant.
If you could eliminate one thing from your daily schedule what would it be? My commute to Washington.
Name one thing that drives you crazy. Clutter.
What’s the one thing, you can’t live without? Love.
When you were a child what did you want to be? A ballerina and a cat mom.
What takes you out of your comfort zone? Loud angry people and high-pitched noises.
When you look up at the stars at night, what do you think about? How vast and beautiful the world, the universe is and how small we are in comparison.
If you could date any celebrity, who would it be? James Nesbitt.
What internet site do you surf to the most? Amazon. I’m pretty sure I paid for a couple of square feet in Bezos’ home in Washington.

What’s the naughtiest thing you did in high-school? Smokin’ in the girl’s room…

On Sundays, I like to? Pamper myself.
How many handbags do you own? 15 too many.
What is the favorite part of your day? Waking up to a headbutt and whisker kisses from Zach, and hearing a chorus of “Meows and sweet little Mews,” from Mirella and Bella Rina! Translation: “Get your butt out of bed and feed us. Now Mum!”
What is the farthest place you’ve traveled to? South Africa.
What fashion craze did you not care for? Big shoulder pads. Ripped them all out!
What are some of your favorite herbs or spices? Dill, Chipotle, Paprika, and Old Bay!
When people look at me, they would never guess that I: am as old as I am.
My favorite unusual food combination is: Peanut butter and bananas. In a milkshake.
What childish thing do you still do as adult? Dance while cleaning the kitchen.
What is the scariest thing you’ve ever done for fun? Learn to fly!

What’s your favorite sport? Bicycling and catnapping.
If you had to be a teacher of something, what would you teach? I would enjoy teaching a combined literature and philosophy class on the essential writings of Albert Camus.
What is something you have that is of sentimental value? My paternal grandmother’s engagement ring. It is very small, simple and she wore the band down to a sliver.
Are you a listener or talker? I’m both.
Can you comfortably eat in a restaurant or see a movie by yourself? Sure!
What do you miss most about childhood? The innocence, trust, and fearlessness.
What is the first car you drove? Opel GT!
What modern conveniences could you not live without? Indoor plumbing and electricity.

Do you prefer pens or pencils? Depends. If I’m feeling confident pens if not pencils.
Can you play a musical instrument? In my spare, spare time teaching myself how to play the flute.

Would you rather see a movie at the theater or at home? It’s nice to watch movies at home but there is something magical about watching a film on the big screen and listening to the audience reactions. And I can drop buttered popcorn on the floor…
